On Holiday

I Seraphic am on holiday in Quebec. Also, my brain is exhausted and empty of any thoughts about the Single Life. If you must get a hit of Seraphic on the Single Life, I recommend reading this blog from the beginning or ordering Seraphic Singles from amazon.com OR buying it at Chapters-Indigo. I went to the Bloor-Bay Indigo in Toronto and, lo, there were four beautiful copies. They were not, however, in Religion where the computer said they were but in Relationships beside Don't Date Him Girl. How they got a whole blog-book out "Don't Date Him Girl" (without being sued, anyway) is a mystery to me. If you already have your copy, you could entertain yourself by writing a review on amazon.com. So far there are six.

Meanwhile, you could always write in with your Single Life question because I can never resist writing an Auntie Seraphic letter, although people don't always like the result since I am a wee bit more frank than is strictly pastoral. However, the first thing they teach us in ministry school is not to give advice but to listen, so just by giving advice I am being totally non-pastoral and strictly married aunt-ish.

And now I am going for a stroll through this bee-oo-tee-ful stately neighbourhood to the patisserie for a croissant aux amandes. It is good to be me.

I hope you enjoy your holiday! I don't exactly have a question about the Single Life, but I wanted to thank you for your prayers! Things are going well. :) Also, I have been LOVING your book--a rave review on Amazon is forthcoming. God bless!

Hope you're having a wonderful holiday. My copy of the book has been ordered - just waiting (not so patiently) for it! Frank criticism is good, and is often exactly what is needed, even if the response wasn't to ones liking. :-)

Healthily Sanguine, thank for for your great review! I'm glad you have been loving my book!

I am mentally encouraging my book to sell. "Sell, little book! Sell! Make mummy some money so she can pay off her student-era loans and buy her inner child an It-bag and her husband a subscription to the British Journal of Aesthetics!" (Ideally I'd like to buy him a car, too, but...ah...this might be the job of the NEXT book!)

And...this is why you should call me - we can get together and I'm sure you will have ideas what to say about single life then. :)

Jasmina, I am so excited that My Book is going to Croatia! (I have an image in my head of a map, with the little gold covers shooting out in all directions from Montreal.)

When do you think it will arrive? Amazon.co.uk says "available May 31". I cannot imagine WHY it is taking that long, since the book was ready for sale on March 1! However, the book industry has many mysteries.

My friend is going to order books from american amazon for himself in a few days or so, I hope that means I'll get it sooner than that :) He says it's better that way..
I've never EVER ordered anything through internet so I'm totally illiterate when it comes to things like that lol so I guess I'll have to trust him on that one..
