I just got a fantastic email from a reader who took my tough-lady advice about something really tough and got herself out of what could have become a real mess. I am so proud of her!
"Why are all my readers smarter than me?" I asked B.A.
"They're not," said B.A. "But they do have you to talk to."
"Where was me when I was young?" I wailed.
There was not much of an internet either, mind you.

I think B.A. is spot on. Good job.
For every person that ignores wise counsel, there are at least as many people who would behave better if they had someone good to talk to.
Taking an advice from you is the best thing an un-experienced lady can do. At least some will be spared from making bad decisions about men. -- TRUST!! :)
Things could have been very different if you were there when you were young. But if you were there to give you advice when you were young, would you be here now to give solid life-advice to all us current single ladies?
That sounded rather selfish; apologies! I don't mean to sound glad that you found out many things the hard way, but I can't help feeling that God brought good out of the bad if learning from your own experiences has made you able to help so many. You've definitely made a difference to how I deal with things, and I'm certainly not the only one.
And now I don't know how to end, but if I could give you a hug, I would. :)
