Polish Preview

Hearty thanks to Berenike who made my day with this link! If you are Polish, you might enjoy sending it to your Polish-speaking friends and family.

The only word I understood without getting out my Canadian English copy was, fittingly, "Bog."

I love translations. "Faceci sạ kofeinạ w cappucino życia" was pretty obvious!

I wonder why the translator went for "anielskie" instead of "serafickie". I think she chose ... poorly. [aaaarrrrrghhhhh] But it's not my field, there's probably a good reason.

I am looking forward to having it in my hand. Polish books are physically nice things - I love the feel and look of the little series I am translating at the moment.

Now, there's Ruslana, Ruslana's sister, the Chess Queen, Frances, Mariusz's nephew, Cabaret Artiste from the parish schola, a copy for the Scary Capuchin ...

Yay! Thanks, Berenike. I can hardly wait until I get my own copy, to put on the shelf between my Canadian and American copies!
